Palace Imports Pros & Cons
Pros
1
100% Solid Wood Furniture: All products are made from 100% farm-grown Brazilian solid pine wood, kiln dried to prevent splitting and distortion, ensuring durability and longevity.
2
Natural Material Benefits: Solid wood offers unique aesthetic appeal, ease of repair, and natural variations that make each piece one-of-a-kind.
3
Quality Craftsmanship: The company emphasizes quality with attention to natural wood properties like expansion and contraction to avoid cracking.
4
Positive Customer Feedback: Customers report well-packed shipments with no damage or missing parts; assembly instructions are clear with mostly pictorial guidance.
5
BBB A+ Rating (Reported by Company): Palace Imports claims an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau for quality craftsmanship and customer service according to their website.
CONS
1
Conflicting BBB Information: While the company claims an A+ BBB rating on its site, official BBB records indicate Palace Imports Inc is not accredited by BBB, has no current rating, and may be out of business based on returned mail and lack of recent activity.
2
No Shipping to PO Boxes or Nontraditional Addresses: Shipments only go to physical addresses via FedEx Ground, UPS Ground or freight carriers which could limit delivery options for some customers.
3
Natural Wood Imperfections May Be Seen as Flaws: The natural expansion/contraction gaps in solid wood furniture might appear as defects to customers unfamiliar with these characteristics despite being intentional design features for durability.
